Our Drawing the Moon theme is one of our oldest themes to be commissioned by a client. We have had several requests for these pieces, and still enjoy painting this theme to this day.  Based on an Old World ritual, this theme features images portraying the meeting of the Earthly feminine with its Celestial counterpart.  Although the framing and accent colors can vary, the main emphasis is placed on the image of a woman raising her hands to the Celestial heavens, where the phases of the moon pass overhead.  The main colors for this theme are dark blues and purples for the main image, with contrasting accents.  This theme works well with metallic hues, and would look equally at home on tables, as shown here, or any other type of wood furniture.
