These popular figures of children's literature have been popular since their introduction in the early 1900's, both as children's books and toys.  The artists of the Reincarnations Hand Painted Furniture studio recreate the look of these famous characters in the Rag Dolls theme. This theme was designed to be painted on all types of children's furniture. It features the characters in a storybook setting for larger pieces, and place emphasis on images of the characters on smaller pieces, such as the children's armoires shown above.  This theme is wonderful for hand painted children's furniture, capturing the spirit of childhood and the innocent discovery of the world it embodies. Although the only examples for our online portfolio/gallery we have to date were painted on custom armoires created in our studio for contemporary art shows, this theme works well for all types of wood children's furniture.  These works of functional art can be enjoyed for years, and can become cherished keepsakes to be passed down to another generation.

The custom children's furniture we produce in our studio can be custom sized to meet the needs of our clients, and we can customize the backgrounds and images to produce a unique work of functional art. These colorful characters are sure to be a whimsical addition to any child's room.  All of our painted furniture is created by hand, without the use of commercial stencils, and no two pieces are ever exactly alike, making each a unique addition to a child's decor that is as functional as it is decorative. We will be adding more pieces to this theme as they are completed, so be sure to bookmark our site, and follow our Blog to keep up our latest developments.
